Visitor’s Destination in Auckland

   (MOTAT)

The topic was a flexible one to choose, we had to choose a visitor’s destination in Auckland, I made a decision to visit and do my research about the Museum of Transport and Technology (Motat).

Firstly I did some online research about Motat, then I called them to ask for someone to interview, they sent me an email confirming that they expected me to come on the following Friday and interview the Manager.

I had been to Motat and met David Konnu, who used to be a civil engineer, but works in Motat to promote sciences to children aged between 4-14 years old.before the interview,I had a tour around the  the aviation display hall with David,then I interviewed him and asked him the following questions:

1. Could you please introduce yourself and your role at Motat?
2. When was Motat established?
3. I have read online about Motat and Motat2, what are the main differences between both of them?
4. Would you please tell me about the history of the aviation collection?
5. What is the most attractive site, for both Motat and Motat 2?
6.  Do you host any events at the museum?
